Journeyman is a captivating drama series that aired on NBC in 2007. It follows the story of Dan Vasser, played by Kevin McKidd, a journalist living in San Francisco who finds himself experiencing inexplicable time travel. Dan's wife, Katie (Gretchen Egolf), and his brother Jack (Reed Diamond), are the only ones privy to his experiences.

Dan's time-traveling episodes occur randomly and unexpectedly, transporting him to different points in time. He is not in control of these time jumps, and as a result, he often finds himself in dangerous and unpredictable situations. In the present, Dan is a devoted husband and father, and his time-traveling episodes have caused a strain in his marriage and his relationships with his loved ones.

Throughout the series, Dan learns that his time travel is not just a random anomaly. He discovers a larger purpose to his time displacement, one that involves saving the lives of people he encounters in both the past and present. Livia arrives from past, being pulled out of time as she tries to deal with her upcoming marriage. As Livia and Dan try to reunite Evan with a lost love, Katie notices blood at home and starts to panic, and Jack pursues his investigation of Elliot Langley.

Dan's travels take him into an RV hanging off of a cliff just in time to save a mother and son. Katie's sister comes to visit and suspects Dan is having an affair. And when Dan returns to the present, he realizes how big the consequences can be when he accidentally leaves things in the past.
