The episode begins with Johnny waking up one morning feeling under the weather. Susan and Mary quickly deduce that he has contracted "Johnnyitis", a rare disease named after him, and they must find a cure within 24 hours or else it will become incurable. The cure is found in the deep jungle where Johnny's favorite superhero, Superb Hobo, allegedly hides. The sisters concoct a plan to send Johnny, with his trusty dog as a companion, to the jungle to retrieve the ingredient for the cure. The only problem is, they must do it without his sisters' supervision.
As Johnny and his dog journey through the jungle, they encounter countless obstacles including giant insects, quicksand, and even a tribe of cannibal pygmies.
