Ep 6. Psychic Spies

In the sixth episode of the first season of Joe Rogan Questions Everything, titled "Psychic Spies," Joe Rogan explores the world of psychic spies and remote viewing, the practice of using extrasensory perception to gather information. Rogan meets with scientists, skeptics, and practitioners of psychic spying to learn about their methods and the effectiveness of their abilities.

Rogan challenges Shermer's skepticism but agrees that there is a lack of hard data to prove the efficacy of psychic spying.

Rogan then travels to Las Vegas to meet with Angela Thompson Smith, a former CIA psychic spy. Smith claims that she was recruited by the CIA based on her psychic abilities and was trained to use those abilities for intelligence gathering. She discusses some of her experiences and even demonstrates her psychic powers to Rogan, who seems impressed but remains skeptical.

Later, Rogan visits the Monroe Institute, a research facility dedicated to exploring altered states of consciousness. There, he meets with Skip Atwater, a former military intelligence officer who also trained in remote viewing. Atwater explains that he believes remote viewing works by accessing different levels of consciousness and that it can be used for both practical and spiritual purposes.

Finally, Rogan visits the office of Ed Dames, a former military intelligence officer and self-proclaimed "remote viewing teacher to the stars." Dames argues that remote viewing is a powerful tool for predicting future events and claims that he has successfully predicted numerous terrorist attacks, natural disasters, and even the death of Princess Diana. However, Rogan is skeptical of Dames' claims and questions his methods.

Throughout the episode, Rogan remains open-minded but skeptical about the existence of psychic powers and the effectiveness of remote viewing. He challenges his guests and asks tough questions but ultimately leaves the viewer to draw their own conclusions.
