Episode 7 of season 4 is titled Punch Dumped Love. The episode starts with Jessie and the kids enjoying a day out at the park. While they are having fun, Emma's boyfriend, Ethan, unexpectedly breaks up with her over the phone. Emma is heartbroken and unsure what to do next. Jessie, being the caring nanny that she is, takes it upon herself to help Emma get over her breakup.
In the meantime, Ravi is excited to show off his new pet lizard, Mrs. Kipling, to his crush, Jade, during their school play. However, things take a turn for the worse when Mrs. Kipling goes missing right before the performance. Ravi is devastated and believes that Jade will no longer be interested in him without his impressive pet. Jessie offers to help Ravi find Mrs. Kipling, but they have no luck.
Back at the park, Luke is trying to impress a new girl he has a crush on. He attempts to perform stunts on his skateboard to grab her attention, but it ultimately fails. Instead, he accidentally crashes into a group of bullies who proceed to beat him up. Luke is left battered and bruised, and the new girl is nowhere to be found.
Back at the apartment, Jessie comes up with a plan to help Emma get over her breakup. Jessie and the kids decide to throw a "Break-Up Bash" to remind Emma of all the great things she has in her life without Ethan. They go all out, decorating the apartment with heart-shaped balloons, having a dance party, and baking a giant chocolate cake. However, their efforts go to waste when Ethan shows up at the party, begging for Emma's forgiveness. Emma is left confused about what to do next.
Meanwhile, Ravi is still on the hunt for Mrs. Kipling. After scouring the neighborhood, they find a clue that leads them to a nearby pet store. They find Mrs. Kipling, who is being held captive in a snake cage. Ravi is beyond relieved and grateful to Jessie for helping him find his beloved pet.
Back at the apartment, Luke is still upset about the beating he took. Jessie offers to teach him some self-defense moves so he can defend himself in the future. They practice for a bit until Luke accidentally punches Jessie in the face, giving her a bloody nose.
In the final scene, everyone gathers in the living room to watch Ravi's school play. Ravi is overjoyed when Jade compliments his performance, not even noticing that Mrs. Kipling is not there. Emma surprises everyone when she tells Ethan that she needs some time to figure things out and stands up for herself. Luke gives the new girl a second chance when she apologizes for not stopping the bullies from attacking him. Jessie makes a dramatic entrance to the play, sporting a black eye from Luke's punch, and the episode ends with everyone laughing and enjoying each other's company.
