Jessie becomes convinced that she's being haunted by the ghost of a former resident of the building, and enlists the help of her friend, the building's superintendent, to investigate. Meanwhile, the Ross kids try to convince Ravi to get over his fear of roller coasters so they can enjoy a ride at the party.

Eventually, Jessie and her friends determine that the ghostly figure in the window is actually just a reflection of their own party decorations, and Mr. Kipling's bizarre behavior turns out to be the result of a toothache. With everything explained, the friends are able to enjoy the rest of their celebration without any more scares.
