'Jersey Shore' Star in the Closet? Angelina Calls 'The Situation' Gay

Angelina Pivarnick, former Jersey Shore girl, is on the attack. According to PopEater, she says her target, Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is gay.

"I think Mike is gay... I think he's gay because of the way he talks and the way he abuses girls. He talks down to women... I didn't have sex with him but to be honest with you, to get a girl riled up to the point where you want to have sex, he doesn't even know how to do that. I honestly feel like he's in the closet right now; he doesn't want to come out," she said.

Mike’s representatives believe the comments stem from Pivarnick’s desire to get publicity and call her statements “ridiculous.”

“She’s become a circus sideshow. Kinda sad to see,” Mike’s rep told PopEater.

As PopEater reports, “The Situation” was caught off guard in 2010, appearing on the cover of the Village Voice’s Queer Issue. Mike admitted he was glad to pose for his gay fan base, but set the record straight on his sexuality.

Pivarnick left after the second season of the show due to “trust issues” and considered most of her co-stars “fake.” While she may not be a part of the MTV’s ratings powerhouse, Pivarnick works to maintain a presence in the media and has been busy working on side projects, like Pop Rap and wrestling.

She says the show was just something to get her foot in the door: she’s in it for the art, not the money.

DJ Pauly D offered his opinion to New York Magazine.

“It’s the worst song I’ve ever heard in my life. I’d never play that song. I’d lose the whole dance floor,” he said.
