Jamillah & Aladdin is an adventure-fantasy series developed by Kindle Entertainment, a British production company. It first aired on CBeebies, BBC's dedicated channel for preschoolers, in November 2015. The show is set in the ancient city of Baghdad and follows the story of a young girl named Jamillah and her adventures with a boy named Aladdin.

The lead role of Jamillah is played by Blossom Campbell, an English actress of Jamaican and Scottish descent. She is a curious and adventurous girl who loves exploring and learning new things. Her life changes dramatically when she discovers a magical lamp in the ruins of an old market, and releases the genie inside it. The genie, named Genie, becomes her faithful companion and protector throughout the series.

Wilson Radjou-Pujalte plays the role of Aladdin, a mischievous and charming teenage boy who lives on the streets of Baghdad. He is an expert in thievery and survival, but he has a good heart and cares deeply for his family and friends. When Aladdin meets Jamillah, he is intrigued by her bravery and intelligence, and agrees to help her with her quests.

The show combines historical and mythical elements to create a vibrant and colorful world that appeals to young and old audiences alike. The costumes and set designs are inspired by the Islamic Golden Age, a period of cultural and scientific flourishing in the Middle East that lasted from the 8th to the 14th century. The Sultan holds a treasure hunt in the gardens of the palace and Aladdin, Jamillah and Genie split up to find the prize. But when the Sultan's spoilt niece Salema steals it they have to prove that the treasure is rightfully theirs.

22. Sword in the Stone

An Emissary from a far off land comes to Baghdad with a sword trapped in a stone, claiming that only the next ruler of his home can pull it out. Everyone is shocked when Jamillah pulls it out, and is crowned as a Princess. It's fun for a while, until the Emissary tells her she'll have to leave Baghdad and her family behind. So Aladdin and Genie come up with a plan to help her escape her royal mess

Aladdin and Jamillah argue over who is the smartest, so Genie designs a competition to answer it once and for all by hiding a compass in the middle of a desert and setting them both the task of finding it. They fly out to the desert on the magic carpet but then discover that the carpet has stranded them there. Now they'll have to use their wits if they want to get back to Baghdad...

19. Genie and the Fortune Teller

After a terrible dream, the Sultan becomes convinced that his daughter in danger, so he decides to send her away from Baghdad forever. The Princess comes to Jamilah and Aladdin asking for their help and together with Genie they hatch a scheme to convince the Sultan that she is safe and that she should stay.

18. Jafar's Return

November 17, 2018

The Sultan's long lost brother, Jafar returns to Baghdad and the Sultan immediately announces that he will be giving the throne to him. Jamillah is suspicious, she doesn't believe that Jafar is who he says he is and neither, as it turns out, does the Vizier. Together they work to discover who Jafar really is before it's too late.

16. Aladdin and the Princess

The Sultan and the Vizier decide that it's time for the Princess to marry and so they set up a contest for eligible suitors. The Princess doesn't want to get married yet and so she asks Jamillah, Aladdin and Genie for help. Jamillah decides to add Aladdin to the contest and suddenly the game is on!

15. The Asp's Fang

Razin has to go out of town and leave his shop, so Aladdin and Jamillah offer to run the shop for him. It's fun but very busy work and they end up not paying as much attention to the things being sold as they should have. They soon realise that they've accidentally sold something that could be fatal - will they be able to get it back in time?

14. Banished From Baghdad

Baghdad is in crisis after a drought leaves everyone in a panic. In an effort to appear like he's taking control, the Vizier consults the Seer who blames it on a missing frog from the well. When it turns out that Aladdin has a frog, the Vizier uses this an opportunity to banish Aladdin from Baghdad, claiming that will help bring the water back. Now it's up to Jamillah and Genie to save him.

13. Prince for A Day

Aladdin and Jamillah befriend a young shy Prince who has run away from the big speech he is due to give in the town square. But when Aladdin tries on his fine clothes he's accidentally mistaken for the Prince and suddenly finds himself in front of a crowd and a very suspicious Grand Vizier.

Aladdin's mother tells him to go to the well and bring back a full barrel of water and he takes Jamillah along for the ride. But he gets distracted by people he meets along the way and soon finds the whole thing harder than it seems.

Simsim is back and Jamillah and Aladdin are scared he's going to cause havoc, but he insists that all he wants is forgiveness. Genie is doubtful and a little jealous when Simsim starts doing magic for the kids. But then Simsim captures Genie and reveals to them his real plan - revenge.
