Ep 14. Webb of Lies

In season 4 episode 14 of JAG titled "Webb of Lies", viewers are taken on an intense ride as Harm and Mac team up to uncover the truth behind the murder of a marine. Their investigation leads them to cross paths with Webb, an old acquaintance of Harm's who is suspected of being involved in the marine's death.

As the episode opens, we see a group of marines embarking on a training exercise. Suddenly, one of the soldiers is shot and killed. The marine, a Sergeant named Finch, is found dead with a bullet wound to the head. When Harm and Mac begin to investigate the murder, they quickly learn that there are very few leads to go on. The only thing that they have to go on is a note found in Finch's uniform that reads "Webb."

Harm immediately recognizes the name as that of his former mentor, Clayton Webb. After a few phone calls, Harm is able to locate Webb, who claims that he had nothing to do with Finch's death. Despite Webb's claims of innocence, Harm and Mac are suspicious of him and decide to keep a close eye on him.

As the investigation continues, Harm and Mac begin to uncover a web of lies that seem to be connected to Finch's murder. They learn that Finch was part of a covert operation that has something to do with a terrorist group that Webb has been chasing for years. The more they dig, the more they realize that there is much more to this case than they initially thought.

Things come to a head when Webb's ex-wife is kidnapped by the terrorists involved in Finch's death. Webb is desperate to save her but doesn't want to involve the authorities. Harm and Mac realize that Webb is in over his head and decide to help him rescue his ex-wife. With the help of their resources in the military, they are able to track down the terrorists and rescue Webb's ex-wife.

However, they still need to solve the mystery of who killed Finch. After a few more twists and turns, they discover that the killer is someone who they never suspected. The murderer is brought to justice, and Harm and Mac are able to close the case.

Overall, "Webb of Lies" is an exciting and intense episode of JAG that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats. With its intricate plot and well-developed characters, it is an excellent episode that showcases the best of what this series has to offer.
