Ep 2. Out in the Cold

Scrappy is tasked with drilling and blasting while Robin operates the new excavator. Josh and Steve move rocks out of the way, while Claudia checks in on everyone, making sure the operations are running smoothly.

The miners work tirelessly, hoping to uncover some valuable jade. The rough terrain and extreme conditions, however, make the task much harder than they anticipated. Scrappy has a particularly rough time drilling into the rockface, and Robin struggles to operate the new excavator, which is much heavier than what he's used to. Despite the challenges, the miners refuse to give up, working into the night to get the job done.

The next day, they wake up to find that the weather has taken a turn for the worse, as it starts to snow heavily. The miners know they have to work harder than ever to make up for lost time, so they buckle down and focus on the task at hand. They work for hours without any major finds until Scrappy manages to drill into a promising spot that yields some high-quality jade.

With the end of the episode, the miners pack up and leave 2 Mile, pleased with their findings despite the challenges.
