Ep 16. A Night at the Opera

Uncle and Tohru want to watch an opera, but Jackie is interrupted by a call from Section 13 requiring him to investigate a disturbance in a nearby harbor. The disturbance turns out to be Hak Foo attempting to steal a rare artifact known as the Scroll of Hung Chong. After defeating him, Jackie discovers that the Scroll has been stolen by the Dark Hand and is being held in an opera house. Jackie, Tohru, and Uncle attend the opera in order to retrieve the Scroll, but things quickly become complicated when they find themselves in the middle of a battle between the Dark Hand and the Chans' old enemies the Enforcers.

As they attempt to find the Scroll and avoid getting caught up in the fight, Jackie and Tohru discover that the lead singer of the opera company is actually a shape-shifting demon working with the Dark Hand. Meanwhile, Uncle attempts to use his magic to uncover the Scroll's hiding place, but is repeatedly interrupted by the chaotic events unfolding around them.

The situation becomes even more dire when the demon unleashes a powerful spell, trapping Jackie, Tohru, and Uncle in a dreamlike state while the opera company and the Dark Hand continue their battle. In this state, Jackie faces his fears and regrets, ultimately coming to the realization that he can't change the past, but he can make the most of the present and work to create a better future.

With this newfound realization, Jackie and his friends are able to break free of the demon's spell and take down the Dark Hand once and for all. In the aftermath, the Scroll is safely returned to Section 13, and Jackie and his friends are able to finally catch the opera they've been wanting to see.
