Uncle’s dream of retirement comes to a while when some of his most dangerous arch-rivals—magical beings he locked up years ago—escape. Luckily, Jackie Chan happens to be in town visiting, and with Jade, Uncle battles the demons to keep them from destroying the world. In “Little Valmont, Big Jade,” the next episode of the television series, Jackie Chan and his allies must confront a new threat in the form of a magical artifact that threatens to unleash untold chaos and destruction upon the world.
Jade is playing with the Demon Sorcerers when Uncle interrupts it and scolds them for playing such dangerous games. To prove his point, he shows them the Crystal Sepulcher, the magical containment unit where several demons reside, including the dark wizard Shendu. Jade asks Uncle if they are strong enough to take on the demons inside the sepulcher, and Uncle answers that they are not. He then explains that the crystals that keep the demons locked away are getting weaker and weaker with every use, and that there's no telling how much longer they'll be able to hold out.
While Uncle is inspecting the Crystal Sepulcher, the demon Valmont appears disguised as a small child. Uncle is oblivious to his true identity and eagerly offers to escort the boy to his foster parents. Valmont, of course, has no such intentions, and instead slips away and heads straight for the Crystal Sepulcher. He utilizes his powers to shatter the crystals and release the demons inside.
Jade invites her friend, Sally, over for a sleepover. Sally is curious about magic and desires to learn about it, so Jade agrees to teach her. Jade is flipping through Uncle's Book of Shadows when Valmont sneaks up on her and casts a spell, causing Jade's body to shrink down to tiny size. Valmont then places Jade in a tiny birdcage and calls up one of his minions to deliver it to the demon Dai Gui.
Meanwhile, Jackie and Uncle suddenly realize something is wrong with Jade and start searching frantically for her. They check every inch of the shop but find no sign of her. They eventually put the pieces together and deduce that she must have been captured by Valmont and trapped in the Crystal Sepulcher. Uncle runs over to the containment unit but is too late, as Valmont had already shattered the crystals.
Despite Jade's small stature, she's still capable of causing a lot of chaos. She breaks free from the birdcage, and Dai Gui and his minions give chase. Little Jade stumbles upon a toy store and gets an idea. She hacks into the store's computers and uses her image to alter the software of the toys so that they can fight off the demons.
Jade's resourcefulness ultimately proves to be the key to defeating the demons and saving the day. With the help of Jackie and Uncle, she manages to retrieve the pieces of crystal from Valmont and uses them to repair the Crystal Sepulcher. Jackie and Uncle then take on the demons head-on and fight to keep them contained.
Overall, “Little Valmont, Big Jade” delivers all the action, excitement, and fun that fans of the series have come to expect. The episode features an engaging storyline that keeps the viewer on the edge of their seat throughout. With its blend of humor, action, and fantasy, this episode is an excellent example of why Jackie Chan Adventures remains a beloved children's series long after its original run ended.
