Talking Drum tells Jabu about a baby python that tied himself into a knot and needs their help. They run off to the jungle and meet with a talkative Banded Mongoose who is excited to help out.

Jabu decides to make drum kit and play some funky music, but unfortunately his drums fall apart. Talking Drums tells him about the telephone wires that blew down in the storm last night. Jabu goes to the Jungle to see if he can fix them but he need someone strong to help. Luckily Sable comes to save the day with her beautiful curved horns and her super powers.

Talking Drum interrupts the fun to tell them that rubbish has been dumped in the Flamingo lake and the Flamingos can't feed. Jabu sets off and meets up with Colobus Monkey who is really good with karate and has superpowers.

Jabu makes a giant catapult and enjoys playing until he falls down. But his fun its interrupted by news that there is a problem on the Sand River, someone filled the Elephants' Well with trash and now they can't get water. Jabu runs off to go and help. He meets a Sand Cat who thinks she's a Lion and is happy to help and show Jabu and Drum around the desert.

Jabu is playing golf and puppy steals his ball. Jabu hears Talking Drum's music from the house and goes to get her. Talking Drum tell Jabu about the little Sunbirds who were blown out of their nest - someone must return them to their mummy.

Jabu is having fun playing elephant ball game until the stocking comes off his head. Jabu gets Talking Drum and she start to tell him about the old Landrover that someone left in the middle of the jungle and its blocking the pathway So they set off to the jungle. On their way they meet up with the big, friendly, strong Kudu who is willing to help move the Landrover.

Jabu and Puppy make a bowling alley and have fun bowling until Talking Drum interrupts them. Talking Drum tells Jabu about the Turtle that's trapped in some plastic in the ocean. Jabu and Drum go on to a rescue mission and meet up with a bouncing, energetic beautiful Dolphin who wants to help Turtle and clean up the ocean.

Jabu makes a ring game and him and Puppy enjoy throwing the ring in the tube till they hear Talking Drum's music in the background. Jabu gets Drum and she tells him about an African Pigmy Mouse that is lost in a sandstorm far from his family. Jabu and Drum set off and meet up with a hippy Kori Bustard who will help with the mission.
