In Episode 3 of It's Okay, That's Love, we see the continuation of the developing relationship between Jang Jae-yeol and Ji Hae-soo. While Hae-soo is still trying to distance herself emotionally from Jae-yeol, he persistently pursues her. He shows up at her office unannounced and spends time with her, trying to get to know her better. Despite her initial reluctance, Hae-soo starts to open up to him, and we see glimpses of her vulnerability and pain.
Meanwhile, we continue to learn more about Jae-yeol's personal life, including his struggles with anxiety and mental health. He meets with his psychiatrist, Jo Dong-min, and discusses his anxieties about relationships and marriage. We also witness flashbacks of his past when he was a child, which give us more insight into the traumas he has experienced.
As for the supporting characters, we see more of Park Soo-kwang's quirky personality as he tries to battle his own anxieties. He seeks the help of a life coach, who teaches him different techniques to improve his confidence. Additionally, we see glimpses of Lee Pul-ip's life as a single mother, including her struggles to balance her personal and professional life.
In this episode, we also see the introduction of another supporting character, Han Kang-woo, who is a love interest for Pul-ip. He is portrayed as a successful businessman, but we see hints of a complex personality that will be explored in later episodes.
Overall, Episode 3 is a continuation of the thoughtful and nuanced exploration of mental health and relationships that we have seen in the previous episodes. It is both a tender love story between Jae-yeol and Hae-soo and an examination of the challenges and complexities of living with mental illness.
