In the third season of the popular dog training show, It's Me or the Dog, episode 7, titled "Bone of Contention," presents dog owners with a unique set of challenges regarding their furry friend's behavior. The episode features renowned expert dog trainer, Victoria Stilwell, as she tackles some of the most common issues that come with owning a dog.

The episode begins with a spotlight on a married couple, Nikki and Justin, who are at their wits' end with their dog, a Staffie named Roxy. Despite their efforts, Roxy refuses to give up her favorite chew toy, making it impossible for her owners to take it away from her without having to deal with aggressive behavior. Victoria decides to step in and help Nikki and Justin figure out what's going on with Roxy and put an end to her aggressive behavior.

Next up is a family with an adorable Golden Retriever puppy, Charlie. The dog is still in the process of being trained and has been displaying some problematic behavior, including nipping and jumping. Not only is this behavior an issue for the family, but it has escalated to become a dangerous habit, especially for their young children. Victoria gets to work with the family to teach them how to train Charlie and ensure that he is a well-mannered pup.

And finally, the episode showcases a Shar Pei called Cassie, who refuses to accept any new members joining the household. The tension between Cassie and the family's new kitten is at an all-time high, and it seems that the two will never be able to get along. Victoria steps in to offer her expertise and figure out if there is a solution that will allow the two pets to coexist peacefully.

Throughout the entire episode, Victoria uses different techniques to tackle the issues with each of the dogs. From positive reinforcement to setting boundaries, she shows dog owners that there is always a solution to dog behavior problems if you are willing to put in the time and effort. Overall, "Bone of Contention" is a fantastic episode that offers helpful tips for dog owners looking to improve their dog's behavior.
