Ep 3. Making New Friends/Little Things

In It's A Big Big World season 2 episode 3, titled "Making New Friends/Little Things," the lovable animal characters of the Big Big World are back for more adventures and learning experiences.

The episode begins with Snook the Sloth feeling lonely as he realizes he doesn't have many friends outside of the ones he sees every day in the World Tree. He sets out to explore some new spots in the forest in the hopes of making some new friends. Along the way, he meets a friendly bird named Birdie who joins him on his adventure. With Birdie's help, Snook discovers new things in the forest and even meets some new animal friends, including a raccoon and a snake. Together, they dance and sing and have a great time getting to know each other. Snook learns that sometimes all it takes to make new friends is a bit of courage and an open mind.

In the second half of the episode, the focus turns to Bob the Bowerbird and his obsession with finding the perfect shiny objects to add to his bower. When he spots a shiny button on the ground, he's thrilled and brings it back to add to his collection. However, when he sees that the other animals are unimpressed with his new shiny object, he becomes upset and starts to question his taste in shiny things. Snook and the others help Bob see that it's not the shiny objects that make him special, but the unique way he uses them to make his bower beautiful. By the end of the episode, Bob has a newfound appreciation for the little things in life and is happy to continue doing what he loves, even if it's not always popular with everyone else.
