Iron Resurrection is a show about the crew of Martin Bros Customs as they restore vintage cars in their Texas garage. In the sixth episode of the first season entitled "Triple Black Cadillac," the team takes on the challenge of restoring a 1964 Cadillac DeVille that has been in a garage for almost a decade.

The car was brought to them by a local customer who had inherited it from his father. The DeVille was his dad's favorite car, and he had purchased it brand new in 1964. However, after he passed away, the car had been left to sit in a storage unit for years, and the current owner was eager to see it restored to its former glory.

The car came in all black, with custom pinstriping on the hood and decklid. The paint was in rough condition, with rust and peeling areas all over the surface. The engine was also in dire need of repair, with rust and corrosion throughout. The team knew they had a big challenge ahead of them with this project.

At first, Joe Martin, the owner of Martin Bros Customs, was hesitant to take on the restoration of the Cadillac. He knew it would be a complex and time-consuming project, but after seeing the car and hearing the story behind it, he decided to take it on.

The first step in the restoration was to take apart the entire car, piece by piece. The crew carefully removed the interior, the doors, and windows, the wheels, and the engine. They took note of all the parts that needed repair, replacing or restoring, all while keeping the car's original design and look intact.

After the disassembly, the team began the bodywork. They sanded down the rough and rusty areas of the car, removing all the old paint. Then they welded new metal sheets to the damaged areas, restoring the structure of the car. They also installed new floors and trunk and made sure everything was solid and secure.

With the bodywork complete, the team turned to the engine. They decided to completely overhaul the engine, replacing all the old and worn-out parts with new ones. The exhaust system was also revamped to give the car a more aggressive sound like a muscle car.

Next came the paint job. The crew decided to go with a triple black color scheme, which included the car's original black exterior, black leather interior, and black carpets. They also added custom pinstriping to match the car's original design.

Once the paint job was complete, the team started assembling the car piece by piece. They installed the new interior, including the dashboard, seats, door panels, and carpets. They also reinstalled the windows, doors, and wheels.

The final result was a stunning 1964 Cadillac DeVille, looking fresh and new like it had just come out of the factory. The new owner was ecstatic when he saw the car and couldn't wait to take it out on the road.

The episode ends with the team revealing the restored car to the owner, who was almost brought to tears by the beautiful result. He thanked the crew for restoring his father's favorite car and said it was a dream come true.

Overall, "Triple Black Cadillac" was a great episode of Iron Resurrection, showcasing the skill and dedication of the Martin Bros Custom team in restoring vintage cars. The episode was a testament to the idea that classic cars can be made to look new again, and it was great to see the customer's emotional reaction to the restored car they had brought back to its former glory.
