Ep 2. Parent Teacher Night / Walk of Doom

Zim, a hapless alien invader on a mission to conquer Earth, must navigate his way through the challenges of school when parent-teacher night arrives. Despite having no human parents, Zim designs robotic facsimiles and sparks chaos when one inexplicably malfunctions. Meanwhile, Zim's nemesis Dib worms his way into a special assembly where Zim must give a presentation. However, Zim sees through Dib's scheme and gives a presentation that turns into a plan for global conquest. In the second half of the episode, Zim grows increasingly frustrated by the lack of progress in his mission and sets out into the wilderness to reactivate a long-dormant weapon of destruction. Along the way, Zim encounters obstacles like an overly friendly waffle salesman and a pack of rabid squirrels. Eventually, he reaches his destination and must outsmart the entrenched control mechanisms of the weapon. Ultimately, Zim's efforts pay off, but not in the way he had hoped.
