Inuyashiki is a Japanese anime series that follows a middle-aged man named Ichiro Inuyashiki, who is leading a mundane life. Despite having a job, a wife, and two children, he does not feel satisfied with his life, and he is often ignored by his family and society.

However, one day, his life takes an unexpected turn when he is accidentally transformed into a cyborg after a tragic incident. After the transformation, Inuyashiki discovers that he has various powerful abilities, including superhuman strength, invulnerability, and the ability to fly. With his new abilities, he decides to use his powers for good and becomes a superhero, fighting crime, saving lives, and becoming the hero that he never thought he could be.

Inuyashiki is not the only one who was transformed that day. Another teenager named Hiro Shishigami was also transformed, but unlike Inuyashiki, Hiro decides to use his powers for evil. He becomes a cold-hearted villain who takes pleasure in killing innocent people and causing destruction, leaving the city in fear.

The story follows the struggles of both Inuyashiki and Hiro, as they navigate their lives as cyborgs and the consequences of their actions. Inuyashiki tries to balance his superhero duties with his family life, struggling to gain the recognition and respect he deserves. Meanwhile, Hiro continues to cause havoc, enjoying the power and control he has over others.

As the series progresses, the two cyborgs' actions begin to intertwine, leading to an epic confrontation between the two in the ultimate battle of good versus evil. The show explores themes of morality, the nature of humanity, and the impact of technology on society.

One of the unique features of Inuyashiki is its dual protagonist structure, showing both the hero and the villain's perspective. Additionally, the show's animation style is well-crafted, with dynamic action sequences and stunning visuals that complement the story's tone and themes.

The voice acting also deserves praise, with Fumiyo Kohinata and Nijiro Murakami delivering impeccable performances as Inuyashiki and Hiro, respectively. Their portrayals beautifully capture the characters' emotions and struggles, adding a layer of realism to the already grounded story.

Overall, Inuyashiki is an engaging and thought-provoking anime series that offers a refreshing take on the superhero genre. It is a series that takes risks, exploring complex themes that are sure to resonate with audiences. With its unique structure, stunning animation, and talented voice acting, Inuyashiki is not one to be missed.
