Ep 16. Kirara Come Home!

In Inuyasha season 4 episode 16, titled "Kirara Come Home!", the group's trusty feline demon, Kirara, goes missing. Inuyasha and the gang desperately search for her, but their efforts are thwarted by the poisonous insects that inhabit the area. As they continue their search, they come across a group of villagers who also happened to be looking for their missing children. It is then that they learn about a powerful demon named Mukotsu who is terrorizing the village.

In their attempts to find Kirara, the group eventually stumbles upon Mukotsu and engages him in battle. However, Mukotsu is more powerful than they thought, and he manages to poison Kagome, rendering her unconscious. The rest of the gang is forced to retreat, with Inuyasha, Miroku, and Sango carrying Kagome to safety while Shippo stays behind to try and find Kirara.

Shippo soon comes across Kirara but realizes that she has been hit by Mukotsu's poison. He manages to revive her and the two head back to the group, only to find that Inuyasha, Miroku, and Sango have been kidnapped by Mukotsu and his minions. With Kagome still unconscious, it's up to Shippo and Kirara to save their friends.

With Kirara as his mount and fiercest warrior, Shippo mounts an attack on Mukotsu's lair, but it is quickly evident that they are no match for the powerful demon. Inuyasha, who had been knocked out, regains consciousness just in time to help save his friends. Together they manage to defeat Mukotsu, but Kagome is still incapacitated.

The group then decides to bring Kagome to a nearby village, where they meet an old woman named Tamego who is a skilled healer. Tamego manages to cure Kagome, but reveals that she had once been a warrior herself before retiring to become a healer. The group soon learns that Tamego had been keeping a secret for years - her son had been killed by Mukotsu, and she had been waiting for someone to come and defeat him.

Moved by Tamego's story, Inuyasha and the gang vow to defeat any demons that stand in their way and continue their journey without further delay. The episode ends with Kagome expressing her gratitude to the group for their unwavering support and determination in finding her and Kirara. With this, they continue their journey to find more fragments of the shattered jewel.
