Ep 74. The Red Tetsusaiga Breaks the Barrier!

The episode begins with Inuyasha and his group encountering a barrier preventing them from entering a village in search of shards of the Sacred Jewel. They soon realize that the barrier was created by a demon named Mukotsu, who is trying to capture Kagome. Inuyasha decides to take on Mukotsu alone while his friends break through the barrier with the help of Miroku's spiritual powers.

Meanwhile, Inuyasha transforms his Tetsusaiga with the power of his father's fang, turning it into the Red Tetsusaiga. He quickly discovers that the blade has gained an incredible amount of power, as he easily destroys Mukotsu's poison gas attacks. However, the Red Tetsusaiga also begins to take a toll on Inuyasha's body, causing him to weaken and eventually collapse.

As Inuyasha struggles to regain his strength, his friends manage to break through the barrier and join the fight against Mukotsu. They soon realize that Mukotsu has been poisoning the villagers in the nearby town in order to create an army of mindless slaves. Inuyasha and his friends work together to defeat Mukotsu, but not before he manages to poison Kagome with a deadly toxin.

With Kagome's life in danger, Inuyasha and his friends rush to find an antidote. They learn that the only cure is the root of a rare plant that is only found in the depths of a dangerous forest. Inuyasha sets out alone to retrieve the root, but is soon confronted by a powerful demon who seeks to claim the Red Tetsusaiga as his own.

The episode ends with Inuyasha facing off against the demonic beast, his body weakened by the toll of wielding the Red Tetsusaiga. As the two clash in a fierce battle, it remains uncertain whether Inuyasha will be able to survive and save Kagome before it's too late.
