Inuyasha: The Final Act season 1 episode 2 is titled Kagura's Wind. In this episode, Kagura, a character who was introduced in the first season, returns as an antagonist. Kagura is a wind sorceress who is under Naraku's control, and she seeks to steal a powerful artifact from Inuyasha and his companions: the Fuyouheki, a stone that can dispel any barrier or spell.
Kagura's goal is to use the Fuyouheki to free herself from Naraku's control and gain her independence. She believes that if she can obtain the stone, she can use its power to break the spell that binds her to Naraku and become a free agent.
To accomplish her goal, Kagura employs the use of her wind abilities to summon powerful gusts that scatter Inuyasha and his friends. She uses her powers to create a distraction while she searches for the Fuyouheki. Meanwhile, Inuyasha, Kagome, Shippo, and Miroku are forced to fight against Kagura's minions while trying to regroup.
As the battle wages on, Kagome is torn between her desire to help Inuyasha and her responsibility to finish her homework for school. She struggles to balance her two worlds, knowing that she needs to fulfill both obligations. However, as the battle becomes more intense, Kagome realizes that her commitment to Inuyasha and his cause is more important than her schoolwork.
Ultimately, Inuyasha and his friends are able to defeat Kagura and her minions, but not before suffering major damage to their equipment and health. Kagura manages to escape, but not before Inuyasha and his companions gain a better understanding of her motivations and desires.
The episode ends with Inuyasha and Kagome reflecting on the events that transpired and wondering what other obstacles they will have to overcome in their quest to defeat Naraku. The Fuyouheki remains in their possession, but they know that their battles are far from over.
