Emily is episode one of season four of the hit TV show Intervention. The show focuses on individuals who need help overcoming some sort of addiction or behavioral issue. In this particular episode, Emily is the subject being followed.

Emily is a 24-year-old woman who is addicted to heroin. Her addiction has caused her to lose just about everything she once held dear - her job as a makeup artist, her relationship with her boyfriend, and her close relationship with her mother.

In the episode, Emily's family is on a mission to save her from her addiction. They worry that she is going to overdose and die if something is not done to help her get clean. They have already tried reaching out to Emily and encouraging her to get help, but Emily has refused to acknowledge her addiction and has become increasingly isolated and reclusive.

Emily's mother, Donna, is determined to save her daughter. She is a single mother who raised Emily on her own, and she can't bear to lose her. Donna has already reached out to a few treatment centers for Emily, but because Emily is an active drug user, no one will accept her. Donna feels lost and helpless, so she decides to reach out to the Intervention team for help.

The Intervention team consists of a group of professionals who specialize in helping individuals with addictions. They work with the families of addicted individuals to help them plan and execute interventions that will hopefully get the person in question to agree to seek treatment.

The team arrives at the family home and begins to put together a plan for Emily's intervention. They enlist the help of Emily's closest family members and friends to participate in the intervention. The goal is to have the group come together and confront Emily about her addiction, letting her know how much they love her and how much her addiction is hurting them.

As the intervention unfolds, Emily is understandably defensive and angry. She does not want to admit that she has a problem and feels like everyone is attacking her. However, as the intervention continues, Emily begins to break down and admit that she does, in fact, have a problem.

The episode follows Emily as she goes through detox and begins her journey to recovery. She struggles with withdrawals and experiences a lot of physical and emotional discomfort. However, with the help of her family, she is able to start to rebuild her life.

Throughout the episode, Emily's story is told through interviews with her family members, friends, and even Emily herself. We learn about the struggles she has gone through, the pain she has caused others, and the fear that she will never be able to get clean and stay that way.

Overall, the episode is intense and emotional but ultimately inspiring. It shows how addiction can tear families apart but also how love and support can bring them back together. Emily's story is a reminder that recovery is possible and that no one should ever give up hope.
