In this episode of Intervention, we meet Sandi, a 27-year-old woman living in Las Vegas who has been struggling with addiction for over a decade. Sandi's addiction started when she was just 14 years old, after her father passed away and she began using drugs as a coping mechanism.
Sandi's drug of choice is methamphetamine, and she has been using it for several years. Her addiction has taken over her life, causing her to lose her job, her home, and her relationships with her family. Sandi is currently homeless and spends her days wandering the streets of Las Vegas, searching for her next fix.
Sandi's family has tried to help her several times in the past, but their attempts to get her into rehab have been unsuccessful. In this episode, Sandi's family has reached out to the Intervention team for help, hoping that they can finally get Sandi the treatment she needs to overcome her addiction.
The episode follows Sandi and her family as they work with the Intervention team to stage an intervention and convince Sandi to enter rehab. We see Sandi's family members share their stories of how her addiction has affected their lives, and we see Sandi's reaction as she realizes the extent of the damage she has caused.
After the intervention, Sandi agrees to enter rehab, but she is reluctant and skeptical about her chances of recovery. We see Sandi struggle with the detox process and resist participating in therapy sessions.
Despite these challenges, Sandi eventually begins to open up and make progress in her recovery. We see her confront the trauma that led her to addiction and work through her issues with a therapist. Sandi also reconnects with her family, who offer her love and support throughout her journey.
As the episode comes to a close, Sandi completes her program and is hopeful about her future. She plans to move back to her hometown and rebuild her relationships with her family. The episode ends with Sandi reflecting on her journey and expressing gratitude for the help she received from the Intervention team.
