Kaylene, the 12th episode of the 11th season of Intervention, follows the story of a young woman who has been struggling with addiction for almost a decade. Her addiction began in her teenage years and quickly spiraled out of control. She is now in her mid-twenties and has lost everything - her job, her home, and most importantly, custody of her two young children.

Kaylene's addiction is to opiates, specifically Oxycontin. She was first introduced to the drug by a former boyfriend and quickly became addicted. Over the years, Kaylene's addiction has only gotten worse and she has turned to heroin as a cheaper and more accessible alternative. Her drug use has led to several overdoses, hospitalizations, and run-ins with the law.

Kaylene's family has tried to intervene several times in the past, but she has always refused to seek help. However, after losing custody of her children, Kaylene has hit rock bottom and is finally willing to get help. Her family stages an intervention in the hopes that she will accept treatment and start the journey towards recovery.

The intervention is led by Kaylene's sister, who has always been her closest confidante. Several family members and one of Kaylene's former employers are also present. They share with Kaylene how her addiction has affected them and how much they love and care for her.

Kaylene is initially resistant to the idea of getting help and claims that she can quit on her own. However, with the help of the interventionist, she begins to realize the severity of her addiction and agrees to go to treatment.

The episode then follows Kaylene's journey through detox and rehab. She struggles with withdrawal symptoms and has several emotional breakdowns. However, with the support of the staff and other patients, she begins to make progress towards sobriety. She also begins to work through her past traumas and understand the root causes of her addiction.

Throughout the episode, Kaylene's family is shown providing support and encouragement. They attend family therapy sessions with her and even make a trip to visit her in rehab. They express their pride in her progress and their hope for her future.

The episode ends with Kaylene completing her treatment program and returning home. She is sober and motivated to rebuild her life and regain custody of her children. Her family is shown welcoming her home with open arms and supporting her in her continued journey of recovery.

Overall, Kaylene is a poignant and emotional episode that highlights the devastating effects of addiction on an individual and their family, as well as the power of love and support in the journey towards recovery.
