Intelligence is a British comedy television show available on Peacock Premium. The show is created by Nick Mohammed, who also stars in it alongside David Schwimmer. The series follows the unlikely partnership between an American NSA agent and a clueless British computer analyst as they work together to prevent a cyber attack that could compromise the UK's national security.

The show is set in the Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) in Cheltenham, UK, where the NSA sends its top agent, Jerry Bernstein (David Schwimmer), to work alongside the GCHQ's director of cyber security, Joseph Harries (Nick Mohammed), in order to prevent a cyber attack on the country's infrastructure. Despite Jerry's impressive credentials, Joseph is not impressed with him initially, finding him arrogant and difficult to work with. Jerry, on the other hand, sees Joseph as a socially awkward and somewhat odd tech guy. The two are an unlikely duo but they are forced to work together as they investigate and ward off potential cyber attacks.

Intelligence is a comedy, and the humor arises from the clashes in Jerry and Joseph's personalities, backgrounds, and working styles. Jerry has a "shoot first, ask questions later" approach, while Joseph is more methodical and follows the existing protocols. Jerry is brash and confident, while Joseph is shy and unsure of himself. The two clash again and again, much to the amusement of their colleagues at the GCHQ.

The show also features a strong supporting cast of characters with their own quirks and storylines. Christine Clark (Sylvestra Le Touzel) is the GCHQ's director, who is often exasperated by Jerry's antics. Mary Peterson (Gana Bayarsaikhan) is a junior analyst who has a crush on Joseph and often acts as a mediator between him and Jerry. Tuva Olsen (Eliot Salt) is a Norwegian hacker who is brought in to assist the team and starts a romance with Joseph.

The show also explores themes such as national security, cyber warfare, and international relations. There are tense moments where the team is racing against time to prevent a cyber attack, and there are also moments where they have to navigate diplomatic tensions to get the help they need.

One of the strengths of Intelligence is the chemistry between David Schwimmer and Nick Mohammed. Their interactions are humorous and entertaining, and they play off each other very well. The show also benefits from its British setting, with references to British culture and humor throughout.

The show's humor is sometimes cringey, but it is still entertaining. The jokes often rely on the characters' quirks and personalities, and viewers may find themselves rooting for Joseph as he tries to find his confidence and assert himself against Jerry. The show is not a sitcom, but it is not a drama either – it exists in a middle ground, with humorous moments but also serious threats and themes.

Intelligence may not be for everyone, but it delivers a solid comedy experience that is well worth watching. Fans of David Schwimmer will enjoy seeing him in a new role, and Nick Mohammed shines as both the co-creator and lead actor. The supporting cast also adds a lot of humor and depth to the overall story. While some may find the humor too cringey, the show's strengths and compelling storyline make it a worthwhile watch for anyone looking for a good comedy series.
