Ep 10. Staycation

In the tenth episode of the first season of Instant Mom, entitled "Staycation," Stephanie is looking forward to a romantic weekend away with Charlie for their anniversary, but her plans are put on hold when the kids come down with a stomach virus. With the family confined to the house, Stephanie is forced to get creative in order to salvage their anniversary weekend.

The episode opens with Stephanie making plans to celebrate her anniversary with Charlie. She has booked a romantic weekend away at a fancy hotel and spa, and can't wait to spend some quality time alone with her husband. However, her plans are derailed when the kids come down with a stomach virus. Stephanie is forced to cancel the trip and attend to her sick children.

With the family confined to the house, Stephanie is determined to salvage their anniversary weekend. She decides to turn their home into a luxurious resort, complete with a spa, pool, and room service. She enlists the help of Gabby and James to make the resort a reality, and they eagerly pitch in.

At first, things go smoothly. Stephanie sets up a tent in the living room to serve as the spa, and James and Gabby help her create a luxurious ambiance with candles and soothing music. The kids are thrilled with the new setup, and Stephanie starts to relax and enjoy herself.

However, things quickly start to go awry. Gabby accidentally spills a bucket of water all over the living room floor, causing chaos and ruining the spa experience. James tries to help by taking over as the masseuse, but his technique leaves a lot to be desired. Stephanie starts to get frustrated with the situation, and tensions start to rise.

Meanwhile, Charlie is getting increasingly worried about his family. He calls Stephanie repeatedly to check in on them, but she keeps telling him that everything is fine. He starts to suspect that something is up, and decides to come home early to check on them.

When Charlie arrives, he is surprised to find that the house has been turned into a resort. He is initially impressed with Stephanie's efforts, but quickly realizes that things are not going as smoothly as they seem. He finds Gabby and James arguing in the kitchen, and Stephanie frantically trying to clean up the living room.

As the chaos continues to escalate, Stephanie starts to feel like a failure as a wife and mother. She starts to doubt her ability to handle her family, and worries that she has let Charlie down. However, Charlie reassures her that she is doing a great job, and that he loves her no matter what.

In the end, the family manages to salvage their anniversary weekend, despite the setbacks. Stephanie and Charlie share a romantic moment in their makeshift spa, and the kids are happy and healthy once again. As the episode comes to a close, Stephanie realizes that sometimes, the best adventures are the ones that happen at home.
