Ep 4. What Lies Beneath

Faria worries about Sathya and Irfan going for work in the forest while the fear of Vanaratchi is spreading rampantly in the village. Irfan tells her not to heed to baseless gossip. Chitra advises Ayyanar to get along with Rishi and focus on solving the case. But Ayyanar ends up having a clash of opinions with Rishi regarding supernatural incidents and the existence of Vanatarchi. At Thaenkaadu, Sathya arranges for their stay in a government guest house and assigns Kathy to help Rishi and his team in the investigation. Meanwhile, the Vanaratchi claims another victim.
