Ep 10. Stair Master

Inside the Ambulance is a British reality series that follows the daily lives of paramedics working for the West Midlands Ambulance Service. In season 4 episode 10, titled "Stair Master," viewers are taken on a gripping journey with the paramedics as they respond to a range of emergency calls.

In another part of the city, paramedic team Hannah and Jamie are dispatched to a call about a woman who has collapsed. When they arrive on the scene, they find the woman lying on the floor, unresponsive. They quickly assess her vital signs and determine that she is not breathing and has no pulse. Without hesitation, they begin performing CPR and administer oxygen in an effort to resuscitate her.

As they work frantically to revive the woman, they discuss the many possible causes of her collapse, including a heart attack, a stroke, or a drug overdose. Despite their best efforts, they are unable to revive the woman and are forced to declare her dead on the scene.

Back at the hospital, the paramedics are kept busy as they transfer patients and assist with various medical procedures. Paramedic Jess finds herself in the middle of a hectic scene in the A&E department as doctors work to save the life of a patient who has stopped breathing. Jess provides support and assistance, including administering oxygen and performing chest compressions, as the doctors work to stabilize the patient.

As the day draws to a close, the paramedics reflect on the events of the day and the many challenges they faced. They discuss the highs and lows of the job, from the adrenaline rush of responding to an emergency call to the heartbreak of losing a patient. Despite the many difficult moments, they all agree that the job is incredibly rewarding and that they are doing important work.
