Ink Master season 9 episode 6 is entitled "Get The Flock Outta Here." The episode begins with the remaining contestants in the competition being tasked with creating tattoos that embody the concept of "escape." The judges, Oliver Peck, Chris Nunez, and Dave Navarro, are looking for tattoos that are not only technically excellent but also capture the emotion and idea behind the theme.
As the artists begin their work, tensions rise as they all feel the pressure to deliver their best work. This is especially true for contestant Josh Payne, who has been struggling to stand out in the competition. He puts all his effort into his tattoo and hopes that it will impress the judges.
However, not everyone is so lucky. Another contestant, Emily Elegado, struggles with her tattoo and makes some critical mistakes in its execution. She becomes visibly upset and worries that it could be her downfall in the competition.
As the contestants finish up their tattoos, the judges make their rounds to inspect each piece and deliver their critiques. Some tattoos are met with praise, while others fall short of the mark. Ultimately, the judges must make the difficult decision of who will be eliminated from the competition.
But before that, the contestants are given their next challenge: to create tattoos based on the theme of "flock." This theme proves to be a difficult one for some of the artists, who struggle to come up with good ideas that capture the essence of the theme.
In the end, it comes down to two artists who have impressed the judges throughout the competition: Josh Payne and Kelly Doty. Both artists create stunning tattoos that embody the theme of "flock," but only one can come out on top.
As the judges deliberate, the contestants anxiously await their fate. Finally, the judges make their decision and the eliminated contestant is revealed. The remaining artists celebrate their victories and prepare for their next challenge, knowing that only one will ultimately be crowned the Ink Master.
