Ep 3. Family Secret

In the Heat of the Night premiered in 1988 and aired for seven seasons. He also finds himself drawn to a new woman in town, but he's not sure if he's ready to jump back into the dating pool just yet.

"Family Secret" is a classic murder mystery that keeps the audience guessing until the very end. The Sparta Police Department is full of colorful characters, and the show does an excellent job balancing the investigation with the personal lives of the officers. The episode features strong performances from the entire cast, and the writing is sharp and clever.
