In the season 5 episode 19 of Impractical Jokers, titled "Heckle and Hide," the four jokers - Joe, Sal, Q, and Murr - continue with their hilarious and embarrassing challenges as they compete against each other to win points.
The episode starts with the guys participating in a challenge where they have to get crowd members to heckle them while they give a speech. Sal is up first and tries to get a group of people to boo him, but they end up enjoying his speech. Joe follows Sal and tries to get the crowd to chant "BORING," but he struggles to get their attention and fails miserably. Q takes a different approach and tries to get the crowd to compliment him, and surprisingly, he succeeds. Murr ends up getting some unwanted attention from the crowd, and the guys make him do something outrageous to get them to stop.
Next up is the classic "don't I know you?" challenge, where the Jokers have to convince someone they've met before, even though they never have. Sal tries to convince a woman that they met in a hot air balloon, but she doesn't believe him. Joe tries his luck with a man at a coffee shop, and things get awkward when he accidentally spills hot coffee all over himself. Q takes on an elderly woman and tries to convince her that they met at a bingo hall. Murr is last and tries to convince a man that they went on a cruise together, but the guy is skeptical and quickly catches on to the prank.
In the third challenge, the Jokers have to convince strangers to sign off on absurd messages on giant greeting cards. Sal tries to get a group of people to sign a card that says "happy condolences," and surprisingly, they all sign it without question. Joe tries to get people to sign a card with a nonsensical message, but most people refuse. Q tries to get people to sign a card that says "congratulations on your new divorce," and although some people are hesitant, he manages to get a few signatures. Murr tries to get people to sign a card that says "sorry I blew up your toilet," and unsurprisingly, no one is interested.
Finally, in the punishment for this episode, the joker with the most thumbs-downs throughout the challenges has to give a speech to a group of kids at a career day event - with the catch being that the other Jokers get to choose what the speech is about. Sal ends up losing and is forced to give a speech about proctology, which is equal parts cringe-worthy and hilarious.
Overall, "Heckle and Hide" is an episode full of ridiculous challenges and hilarious pranks, which is exactly what fans of Impractical Jokers have come to expect. So, it is an entertaining episode to watch for its fans.
