Ep 4. Highland Log Home

In season 1 episode 4 of Impossible Builds, we follow the construction of the Highland Log Home, located in the Scottish countryside. This episode explores the unique challenges faced by the builders in constructing a massive log home in the midst of harsh winter conditions.

The area is known for its harsh weather, with heavy snow, freezing temperatures and strong winds. The builders had to work in these conditions, which meant that they had to adjust their schedules to account for the weather. They also had to transport the heavy logs through the difficult terrain, which added another layer of difficulty to the project.

Another challenge was integrating modern amenities into a traditional log cabin design. This meant that the builders had to be creative in their use of space and materials. They had to incorporate features like a modern kitchen, a sauna, and a home cinema into the design, without compromising on the traditional look and feel of the log home.
