In the first episode of Ikki Tousen, titled "The Champions," we are introduced to the main character of the series, Hakufu Sonsaku. Hakufu is a high school student and a descendant of the legendary Chinese warrior Sun Ce.
The episode begins with Hakufu arriving at her new school, Nanyo Academy. She is quickly introduced to a group of fellow students who are heavily involved in martial arts and fighting. These students are known as "The Great Fighters," and they are tasked with protecting the school from rival schools and their own internal conflicts.
Hakufu is immediately drawn into this world of fighting, and she quickly establishes herself as a force to be reckoned with. Despite her unconventional fighting style, which involves a lot of kicking and using her long hair as a weapon, Hakufu is able to defeat several skilled fighters in quick succession.
However, not everyone is happy with Hakufu's arrival. A group of students from a rival school, the Seito Academy, have taken notice of Hakufu's strength and see her as a threat. They decide to confront her in the school's courtyard, which quickly turns into a brutal and bloody battle.
Despite her inexperience, Hakufu is able to hold her own against the Seito fighters and even manages to defeat one of their strongest members, Ryomou Shimei. This victory earns her the respect of some of her fellow students, but it also makes her a target for both rival schools and other students within Nanyo Academy.
As the episode comes to a close, we see Hakufu reflecting on her victory and realizing the gravity of the situation she has found herself in. The world of The Great Fighters is a dangerous one, and Hakufu will have to fight to survive.
Overall, the first episode of Ikki Tousen is a thrilling introduction to the series. It sets up the world and the characters in a way that is both engaging and exciting, and it promises even more intense battles and political maneuvering in the episodes to come.
