Ep 8. Jennifer

Jennifer is the eighth episode in the fourth season of the drama television series If Loving You is Wrong. It revolves around the lives of a group of friends and their turbulent relationships in a small town called Maxine. The episode starts with Alex, who is struggling with the predicament of choosing between two women, Kelly and Marcie. Whilst all this is going on, Jennifer is met with a heart-wrenching decision that she has to make. Her son Junior is in dire need of a kidney transplant, and she is the only compatible donor. Despite having a healthy kidney, she is reluctant to donate it to her son, as she is still grappling with the pain of losing her husband. Her husband's death has left her emotionally scarred and unwilling to move on.

Jennifer is scared that donating her kidney would mean letting go of the last remaining part of her husband that she has. On the other hand, Junior, her son, is also torn between wanting to receive the kidney and not wanting to see his mother in despair. Eddie offers his support to Junior, urging him to convince his mother to donate the kidney to save his life.

Meanwhile, Kelly and Marcie get into a heated argument over Alex, and things spiral out of control when Kelly takes things a bit further than she should have. Kelly is still in love with Alex and can’t bear to see him with Marcie. Her jealousy gets the best of her, and she does something that could ruin both her and Marcie’s lives.

As the episode progresses, it becomes apparent that nobody's life is perfect in the small town of Maxine. Everybody carries some form of emotional baggage with them, and the show portrays how these issues affect not only their lives but also the lives of those around them.
