Ep 12. The Papers

Tragically, there are times when the only way to access justice is through documentation. In season 3 episode 12 of If Loving You is Wrong, titled The Papers, the characters are each faced with decisions of whether or not to rely on paperwork to settle their disputes.
Alex has finally summoned the courage to confront Brad, but when she walks inside his house, it's clear that he's not alone. As Alex tries to convince Brad to be honest with his wife about their affair, Brad's new love interest stands in the background, wondering what's going on. With so much at stake, Alex needs evidence. Will she be able to obtain documents that will prove that Brad was unfaithful? And if so, will those papers be enough to convince Randal to do the right thing?
Meanwhile, Marcie is on a mission to ensure that her abusive husband, Brad, goes to jail. She's convinced that the incriminating documents she obtained are enough to put him behind bars, but her lawyer tells her otherwise. Now, she's left to question whether she should continue down this path or let it go. Will Marcie be able to put her faith in the justice system and take the risk of submitting the papers against Brad, or will she give up?
When Ian is released from prison, he walks back into Natalie's life, much to her dismay. Yet, Natalie reveals that she has been experiencing marital troubles with Lushion and needs to protect herself and her son. In order to do so, she asks Ian for help in filing for divorce. But, can she trust him? And if so, will these papers be enough to protect her from Lushion's wrath?
Furthermore, Brad is hiding a major secret that could potentially ruin his life. He holds his cards tightly, but when his past becomes exposed, he must face the consequences of his actions. Brad and Joey come face to face with their estranged father, who carries a secret that's been kept hidden for many years. Will Brad be able to face his past and make amends, or will he be forced to deal with the repercussions of his choices?
Finally, Esperanza makes a decision that could change the course of her life. She's been torn between her feelings for Edward and her deep connection with Julius. After much soul-searching, she comes to a conclusion that will affect all parties involved. Will Esperanza make the right decision, or will her heart lead her down the wrong path?
