Carly and Sam are working on a new webisode of iCarly when they start to bicker about who contributes more to the show. This argument quickly turns into a competition to see who can handle pain better - specifically, receiving increasingly intense electric shocks from a handheld device.
Meanwhile, Freddie is dealing with his own drama when he enlists Spencer's help to make a video application for a prestigious summer program at a tech company. However, when Spencer's eccentricities get in the way, Freddie starts to doubt his chances of getting accepted.
As the pain competition heats up between Carly and Sam, they start to push the limits of what they can handle - and end up accidentally shocking Spencer in the process. In an effort to make up for it, they agree to help him with his application video, but when they get to the tech company, they find themselves in the middle of a high-stakes paintball game between two rival tech corporations.
As they fight to survive and capture the flag, Carly and Sam must also confront the deeper issues in their friendship and their approach to iCarly. The episode ultimately serves as a reminder of the importance of cooperation, honesty, and teamwork, even in the face of intense competition.
