iCarly Season 3 Episode 19: iBeat the Heat

In this episode of iCarly, the gang is struggling to beat the heat during a record-breaking heatwave. Freddie is especially irritable as he can't stand the heat and can't seem to find any relief. Meanwhile, Sam is enjoying the heat and thinks that everyone else is just being a wimp.

As Carly and Spencer work on a new segment for their web show, they try to come up with ideas that won't make them all sweat even more. They decide to do a segment on the best ways to stay cool during a heatwave, and begin gathering supplies and props for the segment.

As the day goes on, the heat just keeps getting worse. Even the air conditioning in the studio can't keep up with the soaring temperatures outside. Freddie is getting more and more agitated, and he snaps at Sam when she suggests they all go swimming to cool off. Carly tries to mediate their argument, but it doesn't seem to help.

Finally, Carly comes up with an idea to not only help them all cool down but also to create a fun segment for their show. She suggests they all have a water balloon fight in the studio! The gang loves the idea and starts filling up balloons right away.

The water balloon fight is a huge success, and they all have a blast. Freddie even gets over his aversion to the heat and starts enjoying himself. However, things take a turn when the water balloons start causing damage to the studio equipment. Suddenly, they are all faced with a huge mess to clean up before Carly's dad arrives to check on them.

They work together to clean up the mess, and just barely finish before Carly's dad arrives. He is surprised to see the studio completely clean and even compliments them on how responsible they are. Carly and the gang breathe a sigh of relief, grateful that they were able to finish in time.

In the end, they all sit down to watch their latest episode, which includes footage from the fun water balloon fight. They all laugh and reminisce about the silly moments, and even Freddie admits that he had a great time despite the heat. The episode ends on a high note, with the gang feeling closer than ever before.
