Brent is a 41-year-old man who decides to go on a solo camping trip in the wilderness. He is an experienced camper and goes on these trips often, but this time things take a turn for the worse. Brent encounters a grizzly bear while on a hike and tries to protect himself by using bear spray, but it doesn't work. The bear attacks him and he is left severely injured and alone in the wilderness.
Hanna and Miranda are two 23-year-old friends who decide to go on a road trip across the country. They are having a great time until they stop at a gas station in a rural area. They are approached by two men who seem friendly at first, but things take a dark turn when the men try to kidnap them. Hanna and Miranda manage to escape, but are left stranded in the middle of nowhere without a car or phone.
Karen is a 53-year-old woman who is going on a routine jog in her neighborhood. She has done this many times before and feels safe in her community. However, on this particular day, she is attacked by a man who attempts to strangle her. Karen manages to fight back and escape, but her attacker is still on the loose.
All four survivors share their harrowing experiences and how they managed to survive against all odds. They discuss the physical and emotional trauma they endured and how it has affected their lives moving forward.
