I My Me! Strawberry Eggs is a Japanese anime television series that premiered in 2001 on the WOWOW network in Japan. The show is a romantic comedy-drama that follows the story of Amawa Hibiki, a talented young teacher who disguises himself as a woman in order to find work at Seito Sannomiya Private School, a prestigious all-girls school that refuses to hire men. The show not only explores the challenges that come with Hibiki's deception but also showcases the daily lives of the students and teachers at Seito Sannomiya.

The main character, Hibiki, is voiced by Yuji Kishi. He is a skilled and dedicated teacher who has a passion for helping students reach their full potential. However, when he is unable to find a job due to his gender, he decides to crossdress and apply for a teaching job at Seito Sannomiya under the alias "Izumi." Despite being a new teacher, Izumi quickly becomes popular among the students due to her kind and caring nature. She especially gains a close relationship with one of her students, Fuko Kuzuha, voiced by Akeno Watanabe, who struggles to fit in with her classmates.

When he checks into the nearby school, he discovers that the man-hating Principal only hires female teachers. Discourged, Hibiki returns to the inn only to find that the landlady plans on Hibiki getting the Job. She dresses him up as a woman, and Hibiki returns to the school. The Principal says that a test is required of "her" and that is to help a young student named Fuko run the 50 meter dash without tripping. After futile attempts, Hibiki whispers to Fuko, who, once returning to the starting line, hitches up her incredibly long gym skirt. She then runs the 50 meters, and jumps into Hibiki's arms. Hibiki gets the job as the PE Teacher, and Fuko begins to expirience some puzzling emotions about her "female" gym teacher.
