Lucy and Ricky head off to Florida to celebrate their sixteenth wedding anniversary, but their plans for a romantic getaway quickly go awry. When Lucy spots a handsome man on the train, she becomes determined to make Ricky jealous by flirting with him. However, her plan backfires when it turns out that the man is actually a detective hired by Lucy's mother to keep an eye on her.
As if that were not enough, the couple runs into old friends of theirs, the Moons. The Moons are on their way to Miami to film a TV commercial, and they invite Lucy and Ricky to come along. The foursome hits the beaches of Miami, but the commercial shoot doesn't quite go as planned. The Moons' pet chimp proves to be quite the handful, causing chaos for both the commercial and the hotel where they are staying.
Amidst all the chaos, Lucy and Ricky also try to make the most of their romantic anniversary. They spend some time alone together, but things go sideways when Ricky falls asleep and Lucy gets trapped in a closet. When Ricky wakes up, he assumes that Lucy has left him, causing a rift in their relationship.
Throughout all of these misadventures, Lucy and Ricky are reminded of all the reasons why they fell in love in the first place. They may be getting older, but they still have plenty of fire left in their relationship. Even when things go wrong, they know they can always count on each other to find their way back to love.
