Back in Monte Carlo, Lucy and Ethel are still in hot pursuit when they stumble upon a rehearsal for a musical show. Impressed by Lucy’s singing and dancing skills, the show’s director asks her to audition for a starring role. Lucy is ecstatic at the opportunity and spends the rest of the episode preparing for her big audition.
The episode culminates in a hilarious performance of Lucy singing and dancing in the musical show. Watching from the audience, Ethel is brought to tears by Lucy’s talent and success. In the end, Lucy returns to New York, confident that she and Ethel will always have their friendship and each other’s support, no matter what Monte Carlo has to offer.
