Ep 16. The Fox Hunt

Lucy and Ethel are invited to go fox hunting with their wealthy friend, Liz, and her husband, Roger. While Ricky and Fred think the activity is silly, Lucy and Ethel are ecstatic and excitedly prepare for the hunt. They purchase fancy hunting outfits and hats, and study the proper techniques for fox hunting.

On the day of the hunt, Lucy and Ethel arrive at Liz and Roger's mansion to meet up with the other hunters. They are joined by a group of wealthy socialites, including a Countess and her teenage daughter. As soon as the group departs on horseback, Lucy and Ethel's excitement turns into terror as they struggle to keep up with the experienced hunters.

In an attempt to impress the Countess, Lucy pretends to be an expert rider and jumps over a fence. However, she accidentally takes the wrong horse and ends up on a wild and disobedient stallion. The stallion leads Lucy on a wild ride through the countryside, with Lucy hanging on for dear life.

Meanwhile, Ethel's horse gets spooked by a squirrel and she falls off, only to be saved by a handsome young man named Larry. Larry takes Ethel back to his farm to rest, much to the chagrin of Liz who is worried about her safety.

As the hunt continues, Lucy's stallion runs straight into a golf course, causing chaos among the golfers. Lucy tries to control the horse but ends up getting her hat stuck in a tree, leaving her hanging upside down. Eventually, Ricky and Fred come to rescue her, but not before taking some embarrassing photos to share with Liz and Roger.

Back at Larry's farm, Ethel starts to develop feelings for him, but is heartbroken to learn that he is engaged to a woman named Bonnie. Larry invites Liz, Roger, Lucy, and Ricky to dinner at his farm. At dinner, things become awkward as Bonnie unexpectedly shows up. Bonnie is not pleased with Ethel's presence, and Ethel becomes jealous of Bonnie and Larry's relationship.

The episode concludes with the group back at Liz and Roger's mansion, enjoying drinks and laughing about the day's events. However, Lucy and Ethel are disappointed that they didn't catch a fox during the hunt. Liz tells them that the real fun is in the experience, not the outcome. Lucy and Ethel learn that they don't need fancy clothes or to catch a fox to have a good time. They can enjoy life and have fun in their own unique way.
