Ep 12. Staten Island Ferry

Lucy and Ethel are looking for something new and exciting to do, so they decide to take a trip on the Staten Island Ferry. Along the way, they meet two handsome sailors who invite them to a party on board their ship. Of course, Lucy and Ethel are thrilled about this invitation and begin to plan their outfits for the big event.

Meanwhile, Ricky and Fred are busy working on a new song for Ricky's nightclub act. As they are rehearsing, Lucy and Ethel burst in with their news about the party. Ricky and Fred are slightly worried about their wives going off to spend the evening with two strange sailors, but they ultimately give in to their wives' wishes and decide to let them have their fun.

Once on the ship, Lucy and Ethel discover that the party is not quite what they expected. The sailors are all much older than they thought, and the party is somewhat dull. On top of that, they discover that their hosts are actually enlisted in the Navy and are on their way to Korea.

As the evening progresses, Lucy and Ethel begin to feel guilty about leaving their husbands at home and worry that they may be doing something wrong. They decide to sneak off the ship and head back to shore, but of course, their plan doesn't quite work out as they hoped.

Back on land, Lucy and Ethel find that they have missed the last ferry back to Manhattan and are stranded on Staten Island. They begin to panic and worry about how they will get back home, but they eventually come up with a plan to hitchhike with a friendly driver who agrees to take them across.

As they ride across the island, Lucy and Ethel have time to reflect on their evening and realize that they were acting foolishly. They decide that they are lucky to have such wonderful husbands who care about their safety and well-being.

Finally, they arrive back home and are greeted by a worried Ricky and Fred. They explain what happened and are grateful to be back safely. Ricky and Fred are relieved that their wives are okay and forgive them for their adventurous night out.
