Ep 25. The Star Upstairs

The Star Upstairs revolves around Lucy Ricardo's fascination with a celebrity living in the apartment above hers. As Lucy is singing, Grace overhears her from the balcony and is not impressed. She tells Ricky that Lucy's voice is awful and encourages him to discourage her from pursuing a singing career.

Feeling embarrassed and defeated, Lucy decides to give up her dreams of becoming a star. Ricky, however, refuses to let her give up on her dreams and encourages her to continue pursuing them. He arranges for her to audition for a Broadway producer the next day. Lucy is skeptical but decides to go for it.

At the audition, Lucy is nervous but manages to give an impressive performance. The producer is impressed and offers her a job in the chorus line of the show. Lucy is thrilled and overjoyed.

The episode ends with Lucy and Ricky celebrating Lucy's success. Grace comes to their apartment to apologize for discouraging Lucy and tells her that she was wrong. Lucy forgives her, and they all sing a song together.
