In the season 4 finale of I Love Lucy, titled "Hollywood Anniversary," Lucy and Ricky celebrate their 13th wedding anniversary with a trip to Hollywood. While there, they attend a star-studded party hosted by William Holden.
Lucy, always eager to be in the spotlight, convinces Holden to lend her his footprints and handprints from the famous cement at Grauman's Chinese Theatre. But, as always, her plans go awry and she ends up with an armful of wet cement and a hilariously disastrous situation.
Meanwhile, Ricky is busy trying to secure a movie contract with a top Hollywood producer, but finds himself thwarted at every turn. Lucy, determined to help her husband, takes matters into her own hands and poses as a studio executive to try to seal the deal. But her lack of knowledge about the movie business quickly becomes evident and chaos ensues.
Throughout the episode, the classic comedic duo gets into their usual mishaps and misunderstandings, but ultimately come together to celebrate their enduring love and partnership. With plenty of laughs and heartwarming moments, "Hollywood Anniversary" is a fitting end to another delightful season.
