Ep 1. Baby on a Boat

In the season 3 premiere of I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant, entitled "Baby on a Boat," viewers are taken on a rollercoaster ride of emotions and surprises as four women recount their incredible experiences of not realizing they were pregnant until their babies were born. The episode opens with a young woman named Tessa, who lives on a boat with her boyfriend. Tessa is a free spirit who loves the open water and the peacefulness that comes with living on a boat. One morning, however, she wakes up to intense pain in her abdomen, and she realizes that something is seriously wrong.

One day, she suddenly experiences intense cramping in her abdomen, and she realizes that she is bleeding. She rushes to the hospital, where doctors soon discover that she is pregnant and in labor. Like Tessa, Amber had no idea she was pregnant. She had been taking birth control and had not missed a period. She also had not experienced any traditional symptoms of pregnancy, such as morning sickness. Despite the shock and confusion, Amber gives birth to a healthy baby girl.

The third woman featured in the episode is named Cari. Cari is a young mother who already has two children. She is also a runner and an athlete who takes pride in taking care of her body. One night, she experiences severe stomach pains, and she realizes that something is wrong. When she goes to the hospital, she is informed that she is pregnant and about to give birth. Like Tessa and Amber, Cari had not realized she was pregnant. She had continued to have regular periods and had not experienced any typical symptoms of pregnancy. Despite her shock, Cari gives birth to a healthy baby girl.

The final woman featured in the episode is named Jen. Jen is a married mother of two who works as a daycare teacher. One day, she notices that she is experiencing extreme fatigue and a loss of appetite. She also realizes that she has not had a period in several months. When she goes to the hospital, doctors inform her that she is pregnant and about to give birth. Unlike the other women, Jen had suspected that she might be pregnant but had never taken a pregnancy test due to financial concerns. Nevertheless, she is still shocked when she realizes that she is about to have a baby. Jen gives birth to a healthy baby boy.
