As the 26th episode of the first season of Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger, Quest 26: Rouki Returns sees the return of Rouki, a former member of the Gaorangers who had turned into an enemy. Rouki had been previously defeated and stripped of his powers, but he returns with newfound strength and a new mission.
The episode begins with a group of children in a park playing with a soccer ball. Suddenly, a strange figure appears and captures the ball with a net, causing the children to scatter in fear. This figure turns out to be Rouki, who has returned with the intention of taking the Gaoranger's Power Animals and using them to further his own goals.
Rouki's newfound powers allow him to easily overpower the Gaorangers when they try to confront him. He is also able to summon a group of powerful monsters to assist him in his mission. The Gaorangers soon realize that they are outmatched and outmatched and retreat, hoping to come up with a plan to defeat Rouki.
The team's leader, Kakeru, decides to go on a quest to find the legendary Power Animal known as GaoHunter, which is the only one that can match Rouki's strength. Along the way, he meets an old sage who teaches him the importance of understanding one's own strengths and weaknesses. With this newfound wisdom, Kakeru is able to overcome a series of trials and finally find the GaoHunter.
Meanwhile, the rest of the Gaorangers are desperately trying to hold off Rouki and his minions. They are quickly running out of options when Kakeru suddenly appears with the GaoHunter. The team is able to combine their Power Animals with the GaoHunter to form a powerful new weapon, the GaoHunter Claw.
With this new weapon, the Gaorangers are finally able to defeat Rouki and his minions. Rouki is shown the error of his ways and is ultimately redeemed, joining the Gaorangers once again as one of their own.
Quest 26: Rouki Returns is a classic episode of Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger, full of action, adventure, and redemption. It showcases the importance of perseverance and teamwork, as well as the power of forgiveness. Ultimately, it is a story about the triumph of good over evil, and the enduring strength of the human spirit.
