Captain Devane tries to take Hunter and McCall off the investigation of the murder of Devane's ex-wife, and Devane violates his forced leave of absence to pursue the killer himself, in "Girl on the Beach."Just as Devane and his ex-wife are considering a marital reconciliation, she is found dead in her bathtub. A vengeful Devane sets out to find the killer, who may have ties to a famous movie star.
