Otto Minsky plants a bomb at a cemetery, killing several members of a nearby funeral party. At the scene, Hunter realizes the tombstone Otto blew up was that of Zena Curtis, a girl Hunter almost married. He immediately suspects that the bomber is Otto, a man he arrested in 1978 for a bank bombing. Hunter believes the bombing of the tombstone was a personal message to him.
