Gon and Killua return to the game of Greed Island after their encounter with Genthru and the Bomb Devils. Their goal now is to collect all of the spell cards needed to complete the game and receive the ultimate prize. However, it seems that they have a new problem to contend with as they find out that they are in a large amount of debt to the game's currency exchange due to their previous transactions.
With no way to pay off their debt and no spells to collect, Gon and Killua must find a way to get their hands on some spells. They decide to use their newfound Nen abilities to locate other players who may have the spells they need. They eventually run into an elderly man named Battera who is looking to collect all of the game's rare items. In exchange for some of Gon and Killua's spell cards, he offers to pay off their debt and help them find the rest of the spells they need.
Gon and Killua agree to the deal and set off with Battera to find the next spell card. However, things don't go as planned as they are ambushed by a group of powerful players who are also searching for the rare item. In a heated battle, Killua is gravely injured and they are forced to retreat. In desperation, Gon decides to challenge one of the players to a game of coin betting with the rare item as the prize. With all hope resting on his shoulders, Gon must use all of his wits and strategies to win the game and secure the spell for Battera.
The episode delves further into Gon and Killua's journey through Greed Island, and their struggles to acquire the spells necessary to complete the game.
